Dr. Gerald Mcleod's Obituary
Dr. McLeod was born in Boston on Nov 3, 1926. He received a B.S. degree (Summa Cum Laude) in chemistry from Wiley College in 1947 and earned a Master's degree from the University of Iowa and a PhD from Boston University. Both graduate degrees in the field of organic chemistry. Dr. McLeod worked as a Research Chemist for the National Bureau of Standards, Department of Commerce, Washington DC.; Director of Research at Itek Corporation, Lexington, MA; and Technical Manager at Polaroid Corporation', Waltham, MA. Memorial Service to be held Saturday Sept. 22 at the Lexington United Methodist Church, 2600 Mass Ave, Lexington at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Interment Private. In Lieu of flowers donations in Dr. McLeod's memory may be made to Mount Auburn Hospital, c/o Development Office, 330 Mount Auburn Street, Cambridge, MA 02138 (
