Funeral services for Geraldine M. Eskew, 84, a resident of Lexington Massachusetts Formerly of Warrington PA and Norwood MA) will be held at Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Road Lexington, Massachusetts Tuesday May 2, 2017. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. followed by a brief Ceremony at 11:00. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Freehold NJ in a private ceremony.

Mrs. Eskew passed away Saturday, April 29 at the CareOne nursing facility in Lexington after a prolonged illness  Geraldine M. Eskew was born September 2, 1932 in Newark New Jersey the daughter of Gerald and Genevieve MacIntosh. She was united in marriage to Oren T. Eskew on June 8, 1957 in Irvington New Jersey. He preceded her in death January 19, 2001 at the age of 70 years.

Geraldine graduated from Irvington High School in 1950. She worked as an administrative assistant at the Prudential Insurance Company where she met her future husband of nearly 44 years.

A consummate mother and homemaker, Geraldine dedicated her lifer to the care and support of her family. Gerry had eclectic tastes and enjoyed collectables and antiquing, cooking, collecting cookbooks and gardening. In her retirement, she and her husband traveled the world up until his untimely death.

She is survived by her children and spouses; Arthur H. Eskew, of Lexington Massachusetts. Nancy S. (Eskew) Hahesy and Husband Eric J. Hahesy of Menlo Park, California, and Grandchildren Jonathan H. Eskew and Nicole T. Eskew of Lexington.
