MARTIGNETTI, Gioconda R. "Jackie" (Mazzeo) Lexington, Massachusetts resident of 50 years, died at age 84 surrounded by her loving family after a period of declining health. Jackie was born in New York in 1925 to Michael and Assunta Mazzeo. She moved to Boston's North End and worked in her family's pastry shop, (Modern Pastry) for most of her youth. In 1946 Jackie married Joseph A. Martignetti of Martignetti Liquor Co. and raised her family in Lexington, Massachusetts; Jackie was a long time congregant of Saint Brigid's Parish and member of Nashawtuc Country Club. Jackie leaves behind her four children, her sons C. Anthony, Michael and Joseph Martignetti, and her daughter, Carolina Bendetson, as well as four grandchildren; Victoria and Samantha Bendetson, and David and A.J. Martignetti, daughter in-law's, Laura Sanford and Yvette Beeman, son in-law, Richard Bendetson, loving sister, Carmella Cogliano, brothers in-law, John Cogliano, Anthony Maiella and sister-in-law Teresa Martignetti. Services will be held at Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON, Visiting hours Friday, December 4 from 5-8 PM. Saturday, Dec. 5 at 10 AM will be a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid's Church, Lexington, followed by internment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
