Carota, Gladys "Ginny" (Stayman) of Lexington, died peacefully at her home with her daughter and granddaughter by her side, April 18, 2010. Wife of the late Arthur D. Carota. Mother of Barbara J. Lakin and her husband Richard of Medina, OH, and the late Charles F. Magnusson. Sister of the late Clyde, George, and Donald Stayman. Grandmother of Richard, Sandra, Brenda, Stephanie, Charles, Christine, and the late Eric. Mother in law of Geraldine Magnusson of Florida. Ginny is also survived by her cousin and best friend Dorothy Johnson of Marshfield, and by 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday April 22 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
