Peterson, Glen W. 86, of Bedford, formerly of Lexington, June 29, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Jean M. Peterson (Huggare). Father of David G. Peterson and his wife Joan of Harwich Port, Mark A. Peterson and his wife Diane of Burlington, and Wendy J. Hamilton and her husband Richard of Bedford. Brother of Delores Bengtson of Beloit, WI, and Norman Peterson of Harwich. Glen had a special place in his heart for his 9 grandchildren, Kristin, Brett, Taryn, Michelle, Jill, Joseph, Caroline, Erica, and Julie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Glen was an avid sports enthusiast who played baseball for Arlington High, Tufts University, the Air Force and semi-pro. He was President of his Arlington High Graduating Class of 1950 and Tufts University Graduating Class President  1954. Glen was an Air Force veteran and his business career was in Corporate Communications with General Electric and The Foxboro Company.

A funeral service will be held at Trinity Covenant Church in Lexington on Friday July 6 at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Thursday from 3pm to 7pm. Donations in his memory may be made to Trinity Covenant Church, 7 Clematis Rd. Lexington, MA 02421 or to Cape Cod Covenant Church, 11 Satucket Rd. Brewster, MA 02631. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
