Christensen, Hans I. of Lexington, January 20, 2022. Beloved husband of Lynn Christensen (Finkbeiner). Loving father of Kaj Christensen and his wife Yvoune of Loudoun, VA, Amy Christensen of Waterbury, CT, Lisa Christensen (1970 – 1990), and Arne Christensen and his wife Stephanie Allen of Greenfield, MA. Devoted brother of Randi Mathisen of Norway and the late Rolf Christensen. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Sophie, Maia, Liv, Calista, and Nathan by 1 niece, Ann Gro, and by 4 nephews, Kjetil, Tor Ivar, Kent and Peter, and great grand-daughter, Elliana.

Hans served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. After his service he began his career in international finance, which included many positions in the U.S., and across Europe bringing him closer to his birthplace in Trondheim, Norway. Hans loved making connections with people, spending time with his family, eating Norwegian delicacies, listening with his heart, and taking long walks.

A private Graveside Service was held at Westview Cemetery in Lexington, MA. A Memorial Service in celebration of his life will be held at a later date at the Lutheran Church of the Savior in Bedford, MA.
