Obituary

Buehler, Harold passed away peacefully on April 10th, 2022 at the age of 94. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Dorothy (Ballard) Buehler who loved him dearly, he is also survived by his son Donald and wife Carolyn Buehler, his daughter Leanne and husband Todd Parsons, he has six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son David Buehler.

He was a resident of Brightview Senior Living and a former resident of Winchester for 48 years. Born in Festus, MO, Harold attended the Univ. of Missouri, US Naval Academy, and the Univ. of Michigan. He was an Air Force pilot for 27 years. He served in the Korean and Viet Nam wars. He rose to the ranks of Lt. Col. and retired from the Air Force in 1974. Subsequently, he was the owner/operator of 3 McDonalds restaurants.

Harold enjoyed flying C130's in the military. He and Dottie also owned a private plane which they flew to many destinations across the United States and Mexico. They were devoted members of Grace Chapel for over 40 years. He looked forward to annual trips to Quonnie RI with his entire extended family. Harold's infectious personality and charm has left a lasting legacy on everyone who knew him. We are proud to call him husband, daddy do, grampy, and friend.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday April 14 at Grace Chapel, 59 Worthen Rd. in Lexington at 10am. Burial to follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Winchester. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. There will be a reception following the burial at Grace Chapel.
