Murphy, Helen L. (Dery) of Lexington, MA, born on November 17, 1928 passed peacefully on December 2, 2024. Predeceased by her loving husband, Martin Richard Murphy, who died in 1967.

She is survived by her children, Mary Ellen Murphy, Patricia (John) Gleason, Richard (Liz) Murphy, and Maureen (James) Lupo. Grandma to John (Lisa) Gleason, Kristina Gleason (Brad Pace), Michael (Maggie) Gleason, Ryan (Nicole) Gleason, Shaun (Bo) Murphy, Kyley (Devin) Vaillancourt, and Matthew Lupo.

She also leaves behind her cherished great grandchildren, Daniel, Jackson, William, Charlie, Catherine, Wyatt, Eleanor, Emmy, Sadie, and Madeleine.

A Memorial Mass will be held Monday December 9 at St. Brigid Church at 10am. Visiting hours at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Donations in her memory may be made to a dementia organization of your choice. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
