Murphy, Henry C. Jr. "Bud" of Lexington, formerly of Cambridge passed away on June 12, 2022. Beloved husband of Carol A. Murphy (Caterino). Loving father of Christine Robbins and her husband William III of East Freetown. Adored Grandfather of William IV and Bridget. Devoted brother of the late Mary Preskenis. Brother-in-law to Roberta and Bob Harrington of Billerica, Bob and Carol Caterino of Newbury, and the late Rita Kelley formerly of Palm Bay, FL. Uncle Buddy is also survived by many caring nieces and nephews.

Henry was an Engineer with Physical Sciences, The Ealing Corporation, and Arthur D. Little. He was a longstanding, proud, and faithful member of The Lexington Minute Men and was active in the Town of Lexington Celebration Committee.

Henry was known to be a good listener and enjoyed lively conversations, especially if they involved automobiles, technical talk, or war stories. He will be remembered as one who never turned down a sweet treat if offered – eclairs in particular.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday June 18 ^th at St. Brigid Church, 1981 Mass. Ave. Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend (livestreamed on St. Brigid Church website). Visiting hours at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Friday from 4pm to 7pm. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
