Taylor of Corpus Christi, TX, Billie Jane Walsh and her husband Kevin of Concord, and Cindy H. Carroll and her husband Marcus of Bedford. Sister of Oren D. Massey Jr. of Zebulon, NC. Iris is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Stacey, Megan, Cassie, Brendon, and Benjamin, and by 1 great-grandchild, Lloyd. Owned and ran the Iris Howard Kindergarten in Lexington; Head Guide of Munroe Tavern for the Lexington Historical Society; Played pivotal role in the transition of kindergarten into the public school system in Lexington; Property manager in Arlington and Concord for 20 years. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 13 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON, at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
