Armstrong, Irma Frances (Hutchison) of Kingston, formerly of Lexington. Beloved wife of the late Robert W. Armstrong. Loving mother of John E. Armstrong and his wife Patricia of Marshfield, Gregg J. Armstrong and his wife Frances of Medfield, and the late Robert W. Armstrong Jr. and David B. Armstrong. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Jack, Shane, Ricky, Kate, and Owen.

Irma grew up and lived most of her life in Lexington. She met and married "Army", her great love in 1950. They were married for 47 years, and they raised their four boys. Irma and Army had a wonderful group of close friends, with whom they traveled and camped. Irma was in contact with them as long as she lived. They loved the beach and Irma was a dedicated fan of books and old movies. She had a fulfilling career at Liberty Mutual, which she gave up when she and Army moved to Marshfield to be close to their first grandchild. They always loved spending the holidays with their children and grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday November 8 ^th at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington at 11am. Visitation prior to the service from 10am to 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
