Casella, James H. of Lexington and Marshfield, died peacefully at home with family and friends at his bedside, November 22, 2009. Husband of the late Grace Casella (DeVito). Father of Sara Roberto of Burlington, James M. Casella and his wife Lisa of Groton, Anthony Casella of Orlando, FL, Grace M. Germanetto and her husband Michael of Wilmington, and Dan Casella of Lexington. Brother of Richard Casella of Center Harbor, NH, and the late Charles Casella, Joseph Casella, Salvatore Casella, Connie Mantenuto, Frances Gelinas, Grace Lord and Rose Pagliazzo. Grandfather of David, Brian, Mark, Christopher, Kristina, Michael, Emma, Noelle, and Joseph. Jim is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Served in National Guard; Owned and Operated Casella Brothers Farm in Waltham for 45 years; Longstanding Member of the Farm Bureau Association; Enjoyed Summers in Marshfield, and in retirement reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Wednesday November 25 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM.
