On March 16, 2023, the Corr family lost their beloved father, brother, and uncle, James F. Corr III at age 73. The first son of James F. Corr, Jr. and his wife Elaine, Jim was a lifelong Lexington resident and graduate of Lexington High School, Class of 1967. He graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in 1972 and spent the majority of his 46 year career as a pharmacist at Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA. As a child, and later with his daughter, Kathleen, and wife, Peggy, he summered at Sunset Lake in Greenfield, NH, where he enjoyed fishing on the dock, after dinner boat rides, and card games by the fire.

Jim was known for his generosity and eagerly shared his wealth of knowledge, humor, and possessions with anyone he knew. He took great pleasure in fixing up and polishing items and was well-known by friends as the mechanic of the crew, a skill he learned from his grandfather. Along with his brothers, he formed the "James Gang" paintball team when the sport was just starting out—a hobby that provided no shortage of tales to tell from the field.

While he had many interests, Jim's favorite was spending time with his daughter. Over the years they went on countless bike rides, wore out badminton racquets, discussed topics for hours, and took on new projects together. He was a proud father and adored his Kathy beyond measure.

Jim will be missed by his daughter, Kathleen Corr, of Brunswick, ME, brother Steven Corr and his wife Kristine of Palm City, FL, sister Janice Yoe and her husband William of Dublin, NH, brother Mark Corr and his wife Amy of Lexington, sister Kim Smith and her husband Jeffrey of Alexandria, NH, his eight nieces and nephews, close friends Robert Williams and his wife Elizabeth of Natick, MA, and former wife Peggy Corr of Ayer, MA.
