Doherty JR. Brother of the late Lieutenant William Doherty, Peter Doherty, Edward Doherty, and Robert Doherty. Jim is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren. WWII U.S. Naval Aviator; Founder and President of James R. Doherty Real Estate and Insurance Company in Bedford. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Thursday April 8 at 9am follwed by a Mass of Christian burial at Sacred Heart Church, Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
