Taggart, James E., 64, of North Billerica, formerly of Franklin and  Lexington, June 25, 2024. Beloved son of Grace K. (Hefron) Taggart and the late Robert P. Taggart. Devoted brother of Mary Taggart of North Billerica, Robert Taggart of Bedford, Timothy Taggart and his wife Heather of Watertown, Matthew Taggart and his wife Sharon of Oviedo, FL, Pauline McIver and her husband Kevin of Arlington, and Brendan Taggart of Watertown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Victoria, Bobby, Christopher, Matthew, James, Maura, Emma, Grace, Kevin, Olivia, Brendan, and Tessa, and by 1 great nephew, Patrick.  He is also survived by his former wife, Sharon Manzelli of Newton and stepson Nicholas of New York City.
Jim had a love for sports, both playing in his earlier years and of course was a New England Sports fan, with the exception of one team outside of New England, the Toronto Maple Leafs.  Jim was lighthearted and always there to make you laugh, giving  silly nicknames to family and friends.  Outside of making others laugh, he laughed most while watching the Three Stooges.  He could recite the lines of every episode. Jim was always up for a good conversation with family, friends and even those that he had just met. He was always smiling.
