Obituary

Hardiman, Jane, 91 of Belmont,  MA surrounded by her loving family passed away on Wednesday, October 19 th , 2022 as a result of a brief illness.

Born in Bath, NY she was the daughter of the late Horton D. and Katherine M. (Davis) Lewis. She was a member of Hancock UCC in Lexington for several years.

As a small child and young adult Jane was part of "The Lewis Sisters" singing trio with her two sisters, Beatrice and Marge. They performed with various big bands and on radio shows in upstate NY in and around Elmira. She met the love of her life working at Artistic Card Company in Elmira, NY, and they married in 1952. Together they had three children eventually settling in Macungie, PA then retiring to Florida. After the death of her husband Gerald, she relocated to Lexington, MA to be near her devoted daughter.

Jane will be remembered for her positivity and her warm, loving spirit. Jane had a genuine love of life, her laughter was infectious. Always a beautiful lady, she will be dearly missed.

Jane was the wife of the late Gerald W. Hardiman for 61 years. She is survived by her son, Terry M. Hardiman, his wife Debra, and their children, Kristin, Kimberly, Kate and Kelsey of Laurys Station, PA; her son, William Hardiman and his wife Donna of Greensboro, NC; and her daughter Carol (Hardiman) Puschak, her husband Dr. Thomas Puschak of Lexington, MA.; and their children Erin, Natalie, and Jeffrey of Lexington, MA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America.

Service: 1:30 PM, Friday November 11 th at Grace Chapel 59 Worthen Road, Lexington MA 02421. Private Interment at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
