McDonough, Janice died unexpectedly at her home at Emerson Garden Condos Lexington Massachusetts on December 22, 2017. She is survived by her Sister Mary and her Husband Bill Mitchell from Tampa , Florida. Sister in law Suellen McDonough of Durham, NH. Nieces and Nephews James Mitchell, Andrew Mitchell, and Tom and his wife Jaci all of Florida. Bob and Kelly of Durham NH, Ralph and Kate of West Newbury, Michael and Sandy of Lee NH, Tom and Ann of Madbury NH. And many grand Nieces and Nephews.

She was predeceased by her Brother Robert of Durham NH, her Mother and Father Robert Edward McDonough and Margaret Crowley McDonough of Lexington. She was a life- long resident of Lexington having attended, Rose Hawthorne academy and Perry Normal School. She spent 25 years with the Probation Department, Concord Mass. In her retirement She enjoyed ten years serving as a crossing guard for all the little ones at Bowman School.

Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Friday Dec. 29 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 3pm to 6pm. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
