Obituary

WALSH, Janice A. (Bonnell) 74, of Lexington, MA passed away peacefully Friday, March 1, 2013. She was the wife of the late John "Jack" W. Walsh. Born and raised in Somerville, MA on May 3, 1938. She was one of three children born to the late Everett E. and Alice E. (Holland) Bonnell. She later moved to Lexington where she was a long time resident. Along with her husband she was the former owner of Heritage Chrysler/Pymouth/Jeep/Eagle in Belmont. She was also employed at C & W Transport of Lexington for 30+ years. She spoke often of how much she enjoyed driving her school bus for "her Kids." She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Janice devoted her life to her family and friends. She brought a smile to everyones face and can be described as unforgettable. Her most recent accomplishment has been riding her motorcycle and becoming a great grandmother. She is survived by her two daughters Tammy M. Walsh of St. Petersburg, FL and Debra M. Walsh of Framingham, MA. Her Brother Thomas E. Bonnell and his wife Dianne Bonnell of Ayer, MA. Her sister Marilyn Susie Bonnell of Landers, CA. Her grandchildren Meghan Marie (Bucky) Pelletier, Daniel K. (Dano) Pelletier and his wife Jessica A. Pelletier. Her beloved great granddaughter Lila M. Pelletier. Several nieces and nephews, Tom Bonnell Jr., Kerry Pare, John Bonnell and Larry Bonnell. She also leaves her beloved dog, Ginger. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON, Friday March 8 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4pm to 8pm. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
