Jeanne (Chamberlain) Flynn, age 87, of Pembroke, MA, formerly of Lexington, died December 18, 2023.  Born in Boston to parents Dr. John and Eleanor (Bowker) Chamberlain, she graduated from Belmont H.S. with the class of 1953.  After graduation she attended a five year program at Mt. Holyoke College and the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing.  As an RN she worked for 30 years at Children's Hospital of Boston.  Jeanne was a former member of Payson Park Church in Belmont, and recently an active member of Hancock United Church of Christ in Lexington.  She sang in the soprano section of her church choirs for many years; music and singing were important in her life.  She was also a past member of the Lexington Arts and Crafts Society Metalworkers Guild as an enameler.

She leaves behind her sons George (Debra) Watson of Rowley, MA, John (Sandi) Watson of Lynnfield, MA, and Robert Watson of Harrisburg, PA, and her step sons Brian (Kathy) Flynn of South Burlington, VT, and William (Heather) Flynn of Pembroke, MA.  She also leaves behind 7 beloved grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her husband Gerald Flynn and her daughter-in-law Julie Watson.  Private interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery Cambridge, with a Memorial Service at Hancock Church for friends and family on Saturday, January 6, at 1PM.  Expressions of sympathy in Jeanne's memory may be made to Hancock UCC, 1912 Mass.
