LONG, Jennifer (DiSilva) Of Maynard, formerly of Lexington, June 7, 2010, after a 10 year courageous battle with breast cancer. Beloved wife of James P. Long. Loving mother of James P. and Julia F. Cherished daughter of James T. and Maureen (Haggerty) DiSilva. Dear sister of David J. DiSilva and his wife Annmarie of West Chesterfield, NH, Christopher J. DiSilva and his wife Carolyn of Maynard, Tracey M. Luchetti and her husband Michael of Wayland, and Matthew J. DiSilva and his wife Patricia of Reading. Devoted aunt of Christopher, Dominique, Michael, DJ, Michela, Drew, Sydney, Alexandra, Ryan, Antonio, Joey, Matthew, Brendan, Chris, Rick, Jeff, Kristen, and Cara. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. Jennifer was a kind and loving mother and aunt to all of the children in her life. She was also passionate about volunteering her life and energy for the children of Maynard in many capacities. Her favorite times were those spent with family and friends at Wells Beach in Maine where she could often be found enjoying a good summer storm. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON on Friday, June 11 at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, 758 Mass. Ave., Lexington at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
