With broken hearts and deep love, we share the passing of Jie Chen, beloved wife of Jiebin Li and devoted mother of Jackson Chen. Jie brought kindness and strength into the lives of those around her, and her presence will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Jie Chen, age 56, of Lexington, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 19, 1970, in Jinshi, China, to Yurong Chen and Zhaoxin Zhu.

On October 21, 1997, Jie married Jiebin Li. Together, they shared a life filled with many precious memories that will always be treasured.

Jie will be remembered for her gentle heart and strength. She brought comfort and joy simply by being present, and love through the countless ways she cared for her family and those dear to her.

To her husband, Jiebin Li, she was a beloved wife and the heart of their home. To her son, Jackson Chen, she was a dedicated mother whose unconditional love will remain with him forever.

Those who knew Jie will remember her sincerity and generous spirit. She lived with dignity and grace and always gave love freely to all who needed it.

Her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of her family and friends, but her love will continue to live on in the memories she leaves behind. Jie will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

·         Viewing and visitation: Friday, July 10, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Road, Lexington, MA.

·         Interment: Westview Cemetery, 520 Bedford Street, Lexington, MA, immediately following the visitation.

·         Reception: The Great Wall Restaurant, 309 Great Road B, Bedford, MA, following the funeral.
