Gartside and his wife Dru of La Canada, CA, and Jennifer D. Gartside and her husband Chad Rienstra of Champaign, IL. Sister of John Huth and Marguerite Huth, both of Milwaukee, WI. Joan is also survived by 7 grandchildren. B.A. Degree Radcliffe, 1955; Masters Degree Education Harvard University, 1956; Taught at the American School in Paris, France, and at the Ecole Bilingue in Belmont, MA. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday May 30 at Harvard Memorial Church, Harvard Yard, Cambridge, MA, at 12:30pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
