Joan Frances Jigarjian of Lexington, formerly of Watertown, died peacefully on January 29, 2026, at the age of 81. Her loving devotion to caring for her family and ensuring their comfort and happiness was the cornerstone of her life. Joan always found great joy spending time with her family, caring for her grandchildren, watching them participate in sporting events, dance recitals, and celebrating the many milestones in their lives. She loved the holidays and was known for her signature apple pie.

Joan is survived by her 3 children, Deborah Jigarjian of Bedford, Gregory Jigarjian and his wife Maureen of Arlington, David Jigarjian and his wife Ani of Groton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

Joan will always be remembered for her unwavering love, selfless nature, and contagious smile.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday February 6, 2026, at Saint Brigid's Church, 1981 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington, MA at 11:00 am. Visitation will precede the Mass at Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., Lexington from 9:00 to 10:45am.

Interment will be at Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
