Wilson, Joan F. of Lexington, February 2, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Thomas S. Wilson. Loving mother of Sandra Ralston of Burlington and her partner James Puntoni , and Susan Monette and her husband Timothy of Pelham, NH. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Reagan, Shannen, Coulter, Madison, Nathan, Devin, and Nolan, and by 2 great grandchildren, Thomas and Cecilia.

Joan graduated from Lexington High School in 1956 where she excelled in field hockey and basketball and was later inducted into the Lexington High School Athletic Hall of Fame. She was a member of the The Knights and Ladies of St. Finbarr Cork Club and was named Woman of the Year in 2018. She was also a member of the Irish American Club of Arlington, Norwood Irish Music Club and the Irish Music Club of Greater Boston in Braintree. Joan enjoyed Friday Nights with friends at Bickford's and many visits to the Cape Cod Irish Village. In addition to raising her family, she was an Executive Secretary within the banking industry and was an avid sports fan and continued to play softball well into her 60's.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday February 4 ^th at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington from 3pm to 7pm . Family and friends are kindly invited. There will also be a private funeral service Friday February 5 ^th at the Douglass Funeral Home at 10am .
