DEGNAN, John P. Sr. Of Acton, formerly of Lexington and Watertown, October 19, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy A. (Wotman) Degnan. Loving father of Kathleen M. Gould and her husband Timm of Orleans, John P. Jr. of Dunstable, Linda A. Palm of Tyngsboro and Jane M. Reilly and her husband Kevin of Acton. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 6 nieces and nephews. John was a former Teacher and Principal for the Watertown School System for 41 years. He was also a member of the Watertown Hall of Fame. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON, on Tuesday, October 27 at 8:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours prior to the Mass from 8:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. Interment National Cemetery, Bourne, on Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. Late Veteran U.S. Navy WWII.
