FURNSTAHL, John S. Of Lexington, March 7, 2018. Devoted husband for 60 years of the late Dolores Furnstahl (Metzger). Beloved father of Rosemary Bond and her husband Patrick of Bedford, Stephen Furnstahl and his wife Gail Rothschild of Brooklyn, NY, Richard Furnstahl and his wife Teresa Stankiewicz of Worthington, OH, and Lawrence Furnstahl of Portland, OR. John is also survived by two sisters, Sister Therese Furnstahl, OSF and Sister Anne Furnstahl, OSF, of Little Falls, MN, and by two grandchildren, Brian Ferullo and Stephanie Bond, and by many nieces and nephews. Engineering graduate of Marquette and Drexel Universities, worked in the field of aerospace radar for RCA Corporation, including the rendezvous radar for the Apollo lunar module. Long-time volunteer at the Lexington Community Center Fix-It Shop. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday March 12 at St. Brigid Church, 2001 Mass. Ave., Lexington at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
