BRIERE, Joseph C. of Somerville in Lexington March 24, 2017. Beloved husband of Rosemary A. (Paratore) Briere. Loving father of Rodney C. and his wife Mara of Bedford and Kevin J. and his wife Laura of Lincoln, NH and the late Jerome A. Briere. Cherished grandfather of Chauntè, Mikayla, Andreeà and Erika Briere. Dear brother of Gilberta Laliberte of Manville, RI and Lillian Cochran of Florida. He was predeceased by 13 siblings. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held from the Douglass Funeral Home 51 Worthen Rd Lexington on Thursday March 30th at 9AM followed by a mass of Christian burial at St Brigid Church Lexington at 10AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at the funeral home on Wednesday March 29th from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St Framingham MA 01701. Interment Westview Cemetery Lexington. Veteran US Navy Korean War.
