ORTOLANO, Joseph A. Of Lexington on June 6, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ninfa (Crivello) Ortolano. Devoted father of Jennifer Gorske and husband Tad of Pittsburgh, Julie Harrison and husband Lonnie of Virginia Beach, Susan Ortolano and husband Nur Sheikh of Philadelphia and Stephanie Donovan and husband Edward of Wilmington, MA. Adored grandfather of Anna and Julia Gorske, Zachary and Jacob Harrison, Jordan Sheikh, and Darren and Samantha Donovan. Brother of Jean Coates of Arlington, Angelo of Chelmsford, Dominic of Burlington, and Sally Christle of Littleton and by many nieces and nephews. He received a BS and MBA from Northeastern University and worked for GTE and the IRS. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club of GTE. His first love was for his family, his second love was music. He played the clarinet as a child and continued into adulthood as a member of the Lexington Bicentennial Band for 32 years. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Saturday June 11 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
