Sullivan, Joseph D. of Lexington, age 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home on December 17, 2022. Beloved husband of Marilyn R. (Keenan) Sullivan, married for 67 years. Loving father of Cheryl Sullivan of Lexington, John Sullivan and Debbie Saponaro of Holliston, Carol Palandjian and her husband David of Concord, and the late James Sullivan. Devoted brother of John Sullivan of West Roxbury, and the late Frank Sullivan, Florence Krol, Rosemary Sullivan, and Eileen Coates. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Emily, Joseph, Leon, David, Amy, Brian, Meghan, and Carrie, 2 great grandchildren, Jordan and Josie, and by many nieces and nephews.

A U.S. Coast Guard Veteran, Joe was an Installer for the Telephone Company for his career. He had a great sense of humor and will be remembered for being a bit of a jokester. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday Dec. 21st at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington at 11am. Visitation immediately prior to the service from 10am to 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. In honor of our veterans, donations in his memory may be made to the American Red Cross. Burial at Westview Cemetery in Lexington.
