Morse, Julianne "Julie" (Moon) of Anna Maria Island, Florida, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 10, 2015, after a prolonged illness. She was the wife of Emery T. Morse. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 26, 2015. Julianne was born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, to Mott and Margaret Moon on June 30, 1931. Julie graduated from Millville High School in Millville, New Jersey, then from Gordon College in Boston, Massachusetts, and then a Master's Degree from Boston University. She played the piano for the Men's Quartet while at Gordon College. Julianne taught Business Education at Lexington Christian Academy, Hull High School and Quincy and North Quincy High Schools as well as evening courses at Burdette Junior College. She was active in the Women's Bible Study in Hamilton, Massachusetts, and also in Grace Chapel in Lexington, Massachusetts. She enjoyed writing Bible Study Curriculum with other ladies. In addition to her faithful husband, Julie is survived by her son, William (Janelle) Morse and two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Nathan, of Rolling Meadows, Illinois; her sister, Marilyn (Jack) of Orlando, Florida, four nieces, Julie, Debra, Beth, and Lynn; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Saturday Nov. 14 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Saturday prior to the service from 9am to 11am. Interment to follow at Highland Cemetery in Norwood, Massachusetts.
