Obituary

Karen A. Fogg (Maloney) of Lexington, December 13, 2025. Former wife of the late James Fogg. Loving mother of Jamie A. Fogg and his wife Carla of Chelmsford, and Jason D. Fogg and his wife Amanda of Colton, NY. Devoted sister of David Maloney and his wife Sally of Woburn, Denise Traynor of Tewksbury, Richard Maloney and his wife Joanne of Woburn, and the late Daniel Maloney. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Delaney, Norah, Caleb, Nathan, and Samuel, and many nieces and nephews.

Born on July 8, 1951, Karen was raised in Somerville, Ma; daughter to the late Daniel J. and Mary (Cunningham) Maloney.

She attended Salem State College and later met and married the late James A Fogg of Lexington. Karen was a devote Catholic, faithful wife, and dedicated mother. She sacrificially lived for her children by working several jobs and bringing Jamie and Jason to countless baseball games and fishing ponds. She loved her family and friends. Karen had an eye for seeing what beneficial gifts she could give to others, never expecting anything in return. In addition, she loved decorating her home and gardening beautiful flowers. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday December 17 at St. Brigid Church, 1981 Mass. Ave. Lexington at 11am. Visitation immediately prior to the Mass at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington from 9am to 10:45am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.  Interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.
