Gaughan, Karen M. of Lexington, April 9, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late Leo M. Gaughan Sr. and Elizabeth (Garrity) Gaughan. Devoted sister of Leo M. Gaughan Jr. and his wife Peggy of Tyngsboro, and the late Kevin Gaughan and Kathleen Gaughan. She is also survived by 3 nieces, Kaitlin, Colleen, and Liz, and by a nephew, Patrick. She was predeceased by her fiancé, John Donovan.

Karen was a licensed Social Worker for the state of Massachusetts and served for 40 years on the Lexington Celebrations Committee.

Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Wednesday April 14 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Funeral Home Visiting Hours are Tuesday from 5pm to 7pm.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, 320 Haverhill St. Reading, MA 01867. Interment at Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
