Jackman, Karen (Hardy) of Lexington, January 27, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Richard A. Jackman. Loving mother of Jennifer Jackman of Lexington, and Julie Jackman of Stoneham. Devoted sister of the late Linda Hardy. She is also survived by her loving grandson, Benjamin and her three nieces Laura, Stephanie and Melissa.

Karen found her greatest joy over the years giving many animals a loving home, spending hours tending her beautiful flower gardens and loving her first grandchild.

Karen proudly served the town of Lexington for 30 years as the  Assistant to the Town Treasurer.  She was well known for her quick wit and friendly smile.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday February 3 ^rd at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington at 10am. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.  Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.

Donations may be made in her memory  to the charities close to her heart, the American Diabetes Foundation or the Humane Society of the United States.
