KELLY, Karen Wood 41, of Framingham, formerly of Lexington, December 22, 2014. Survived by her husband of 15 years, Scott E. Kelly and daughter Jessica C. Kelly; father James E. Wood of Waltham; brother, Jeff and wife Nancy of Heinsburg, VT and Gary and wife Heather of Wayland; sister-in-law Colleen Hildreth and husband Chris of Framingham; nieces and nephews, Kelly, Katie, Michael, Annalise, Ryan, and Wesley. Predeceased by her mother Carol. On Monday, Karen had a peaceful end to her courageous six year battle against breast cancer. Karen was dedicated to her Human Resources work at the Conservation Services Group. She was an avid reader, dedicated patriots fan and loved to work out to Kid Rock. Karen's dedication to the Jimmy Fund Walk raised over $7,500 over five years. She enjoyed travelling with friends and family and spending time at the beach. Karen was a devoted wife and mother and gave compassion to everyone she knew. In celebration of her life, calling hours will be held Sunday Dec. 28 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. LEXINGTON from 4pm to 7pm, with a memorial service at Douglass Funeral Home Monday Dec. 29 at 11am.
