Father of Paul Ahlstrand and his wife Maria of Stoneham, Joanne O'Leary and her husband Cornelius of Framingham, Jean MacKimie and her husband John of Amherst, and Jill Ahlstrand of Portland, OR. Karl is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Leslie, Taryn, Devin, Brendan, Erin, and Amanda. Lieutenant U.S. Army, Korea; MIT Graduate, Class of 1950; Mechanical Engineer and Owner of Screw Machine Products, Inc. of Waltham. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Friday May 4 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Michael Church, Bedford at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
