Geanacopulos, Katherine Iva (Johnston) of Pepperell, formerly of Lexington, died peacefully Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Life Care Center in Leominster, MA surrounded by her family.  Born September 3rd, 1929 in Athol, MA, she was the daughter of the late Doris (Parent) and Russell Johnston.  Katherine was a hard-working factory supervisor until she retired. Her strong work ethics carried over in everything she did.  From her volunteer work, cooking for the priests, woman's club, and organizing pilgrimages. She was a member of St Brigid's Church in Lexington, MA where she settled for the majority of her life.  Katherine had a very strong faith, reading her bible daily, her rosaries and many bible study groups.

Katherine is survived by her daughter Donna and her husband Cary Whelpley of Pepperell, MA, and her son Harry and his wife Lauren (Macbeth) Geanacopulos of Townsend, MA.  Grandchildren, Debra and her husband Kyle Bradley of Winchendon, MA, Jill (Whelpley) Secovich and her partner Chris Gorman of Hudson, NH, and Peter Geanacopulos of Townsend, MA.  Great-grandchildren, Jordan Whelpley, Kaeleb Secovich, Jacob Secovich, Cassandra Secovich, Abigail Bradley, Olivia Secovich, Emily Bradley, Jaida Secovich, Madison Bradley, and Issac Secovich; and many nieces and nephews.

Katherine was predeceased by her husband Harry Geanacopulos, her brother Charles, sisters, Dorothy, May, Eva, and Shirley; and her grandson Christopher Geanacopulos.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday October 20 at St. Brigid Church, 1981 Mass. Ave. Lexington at 11am. Visitation immediately prior to the Mass at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington from 9:30am to 10:45am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
