Farris, Kip D. of Lexington, November 5th. Beloved husband of 51 years of Donnalee (Comlin) Farris. Devoted father to Susan Farris and her husband Ivan O'Connor of Waban; David Farris of Arlington; Jeffrey Farris and his wife Kathe of Medfield; Christopher Farris and his wife Linda of Wakefield. Poppa was incredibly proud of his 6 grandchildren: Alexandra, Kendra, Elizabeth, Jesse, Fionn and Katelin.

Kip was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island in 1942. He moved to the US with his mother and sister in the late 1950s. Kip enjoyed all sports (especially his children's and grandchildren's games), was an avid golfer, loved to play cards and enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with his dogs Bean and Bisquit.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 9th from 4 until 8PM at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd, Lexington. Funeral services at the Hancock Church, 1912 Mass. Ave., Lexington on Monday, November 10th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kip's name to Mass Audubon as he loved birds, or to Cary Memorial Library in Lexington because he loved to read mysteries. Interment will be private.
