LENORE R. JAMES OF BELMONT, MA
It is with profound sadness that the family of Lenore R. James announce her passing on Thursday, October 18, 2012. Lenore was born on July 11, 1929 to Cecilia and Anthony Raduano. Beloved wife for 51 years of the late Paul N. James, Sr. Devoted and loving mother of Paul N. James, Jr., of Cambridge, MA, Lori C. James-Cronin of Ballston Lake, NY and Anthony R. James of Cambridge, MA; cherished grandmother of Matthew J. Cronin of Washington, DC and Daniel T. Cronin of Albany, NY.

She was predeceased by her brothers George Raduano and Anthony Feroci. She is survived by her brother, Joseph T. Raduano, of Newport, RI.

As a working mother, Lenore was a proud graduate of the Harvard Extension School, earning her B.A. degree with honors in June 1975. She also served as class marshall.

Lenore always enjoyed working and staying busy and she had a varied and interesting work history. For several years Lenore worked as a grammar school teacher at the Tobin School in Cambridge, MA and thereafter served as the director of the Middlesex County Advisory Board. Subsequently, she worked for Massachusetts state representative John H. Loring and then served as campaign coordinator for U. S. Congresswoman Margaret Heckler.
After working for Congresswoman Heckler, Lenore became the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association. Most recently, for the past twelve years, Lenore was the Executive Director of Concord Prison Outreach, a position she found most gratifying and that she greatly enjoyed.

At Lenore's request, the family held a private service at the Bigelow Chapel at Mt. Auburn Cemetery on October 21, 2012. The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to all of Lenore's friends for their expressions of sympathy and for the kindness that they showed Lenore during her lifetime.
