Leon A. Burke, Jr., formerly of Lexington, died peacefully at the age of 89 on February 15, 2015, at the Bedford Veteran's Administration Long Term Care Facility. A memorial service is planned for March 28 at Douglass Funeral Home in Lexington, MA. Calling hours begin at 10 a.m., service at 11, followed by internment at Westview Cemetery at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leon's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, 150 Cambridge Park Drive, Suite 202, Cambridge, MA 02140.
