Leonard Rothman of Lexington, MA, died at home July 16, 2024. Leonard was born June 1, 1925, in New York City, the only child of Jack and Nettie (Braff) Rothman. He served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps in World War II, then graduated from the George Washington University. He married Elaine Kravitz in 1951.

Len was an International Examiner for the Internal Revenue Service and he was delighted when his granddaughter also went to work for the Treasury Department. After retiring to Morris, CT, Len enjoyed traveling, gardening, woodworking, and photography.

Leonard was predeceased by Elaine, his wife of almost 71 years. He is survived by his sons Robert and Daniel, and his daughter-in-law Lisa. He was loved by his three granddaughters and their partners, Sara (Colby), Emily (Matthew), and Anna (Noa), and his four great-grandchildren Samuel and Edward Sullins and Rose and Julian Balkam.

There will be a private interment at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.
