DRURY, Lillian H. (Hammond) A resident of Carleton Willard Village in Bedford, formerly a longtime resident of Lexington, July 26, 2013, age 95. Wife of the late Herbert R. Drury. Mother of Louise Maher and her husband Michael of Branford, CT, and Susan Stewart of Merrimack, NH. Sister of Russell Hammond of Alexandria, VA. Grandmother of Travis, Kim, and Kelly. Lillian is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews. Technical secretary at Kennecott Copper, Raytheon, and Stone & Webster; Deaconess at Hancock Church; An avid reader and bridge player, enjoyed quilting, kayaking, swimming, hiking, and gardening, and volunteered for many organizations. A memorial service will be celebrated Wednesday, July 31 at Hancock Church, 1912 Mass Ave., Lexington at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
