COLPRITT, Linda Marie (Duval) Age 62, of Fort Mill, South Carolina and previously of Strafford, New Hampshire and Lexington, Massachusetts, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Chester C. and Nancy Duval of Lexington, MA. She was a strong woman and loving mother survived by her two children Robin Hopwood-Courville, DVM PhD. and her husband Jeff of Fort Mill, South Carolina and Frederick J. Hopwood III and his wife Rae-Ann of Crown Point, Indiana. She was a devoted grandmother to her grandsons Eddie, Jackson and Austin and granddaughters Alex and Ally. She was a caring sister to Chester (Fern) Duval of Waltham, Massachusetts, Judi (James) Gannon of Sun City Center, Florida and Patricia Duval of West Palm Beach, Florida. She was a recent retiree from New Market Public School Administration in New Hampshire. Her dedication to the education of not only her children and her grandchildren, but the children in her community was one of the greatest passions she carried throughout her life. An avid reader, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a sounding board, our best friend and an amazing woman who brought so much joy to our lives. We will forever love you and miss you. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Saturday October 2 at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
