SCANNELL, Lois A. (Spidle) age 88 formerly of Lexington and Billerica MA. Passed away peacefully on October 2, 2018. Lois was the beloved wife of 67 years to Robert A. Scannell. Loving mother of Linda Hildreth, Steven Scannell and his wife Lynn, Susan Gilbert and her husband Robert. Cherished Grandmother of Kathleen Ward, Gregory Hildreth, Jennifer Hildreth, David Scannell and Kevin Scannell. Loving Great Grandmother of Aiden Hildreth, Mason Ross, Jason and Abigail Scannell. Devoted daughter of the late Charles and Anna Spidle. Dear sister of Lawrence Spidle, Charles Spidle, the late John Callahan, Marie Kirkland and Robert Spidle. Funeral From The Douglass Funeral Home 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington on Friday October 5 at 11:30am. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Visiting Hours prior to service from 10am to 11:30am on Friday. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the ST. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas PL. Memphis, TN 38105.
