Compton, Lorne A of Arlington passed away peacefully on June 27,2026 at the age of 92 and was a veteran with the United States Air Force

Predeceased by his parents both born in Prince Edward Island, Canada  Daniel A Compton and Maime (Macleod) Compton

Beloved Husband to the late Carol A (Lindberg) Compton

Loving father to Susan Young of Arlington and Scott Compton of Woburn and Scott's life partner the late Karen Johnson

Grandfather to the late Brian Young of Arlington

Brother to Anne Nicholson of Arlington and Brother-In-law to the late Stewart Nicholson

Also survived by many nephews and nieces along with many friends

Married to his beloved wife for 51 years they would would love to travel to small towns and large cities with their dogs as their constant traveling companions

As a devoted father he would constantly share his faith in God and with his strong unlimited entrepreneurial work ethic he would also be willing to share his guidance, thoughts, wisdom and would say with passion and desire you can achieve all. He would also quickly share that his greatest achievements and success in his life was to have a loving family

Private services and interment will be held at Cambridge Cemetery.  A public celebration of Lorne's life will be announced at a later date.
