D'ALLEVA, Luigi "Lou" 50, of Lexington, formerly of Burlington, February 19, 2012, after a lengthy battle with brain cancer. Beloved husband of 28 years to his high school sweetheart Joanne (Maher). Loving father of Melissa M., Brian A., and Katelyn M., all of Lexington. Also survived by parents Ismaele and Mary D'Alleva of North Reading, grandmother Maria D'Alleva, sisters Rita Whitney and her husband John, Lisa Burke and her husband Patrick, all of Burlington. Loving godfather of Ronald D'Alleva of Brookline, Allison Whitney and Michael Burke of Burlington, and the late Andrew Manfredi of Dracut. Also survived by many wonderful in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lou worked his whole life in the family produce business. He loved fishing, traveling, and spending weekends in Maine with his family and friends. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. LEXINGTON Saturday February 25 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Barbara Church, Woburn at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
