Obituary

Milso, Marie Theresa (Pace) of Lexington, December 6, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late Philip Pace and Rose (Maggio) Pace. Loving mother of her late daughter Lisa Anne Milso. Devoted sister of Salvatore A. Pace and his late wife Ann of Lexington, Kathleen McElroy and her husband Bob of Westwood, Ralph Pace and Michael Durfee of Whiting, NJ, Paula Maloof and her late husband Raymond of Walpole, and Elizabeth Goonan and her late husband Robert of Norwood. She is also survived by her special friend Lesley Peters of Wakefield, and by many nieces and nephews.

Marie had many jobs throughout her life but most notable was her long and dedicated career at Lahey Clinic in Burlington serving many departments as a patient transport coordinator. She especially enjoyed crocheting, knitting, shopping, and playing bingo at the senior center in Lexington. At 4ft 8ins tall Marie was fun and feisty but incredibly loyal and generous to her family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday Dec. 10 at St. Brigid Church, Lexington at 11am. Visitation at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington Friday, immediately prior to the Mass, from 9am to 10:45am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Donations in her memory may be made to the Lisa Milso Memorial Scholarship at North Shore Community College, 1 Ferncroft Rd. Danvers, MA 01923 or to the New England Organ Bank, 60 1 st St. Waltham, MA 02451. Private interment in the Columbarium at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in West Harwich. The family would like to thank Dr. Andrew Villanueva at Lahey Clinic in Burlington for his wonderful care of Marie for over 30 years.  Grateful thanks also go to the nurses, staff, and residents at Youville Place in Lexington.
