Marilyn J. (Petronio) Kelley, 90, passed away October 8, 2026 in Boynton Beach, FL after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. Born in Medford, MA on July 9, 1936 to John and Mary (Ruggerio) Petronio, Marilyn graduated from Medford High School and later from Burdette College in Boston, MA. She married Donald Kelley (died 2022) in 1960 and went on to raise six children in Winchester, MA and Lexington, MA. She worked for many years as a realtor for Grant-Cole in Lexington, MA. She leaves behind five children (one son, Donald Jr., pre-deceased): Stephen Kelley and his partner Tom Santaniello, Carolyn (Kelley) Savello and her husband Michael, Alison Kelley-Keena, Lisa Kelley-Schmidt and her husband Erik, and Diana (Kelley) Pugh and her husband Patrick as well as 9 grandchildren (Anne Marie (Savello) Phelan, Daniel Savello, Julia Pugh, Carter Pugh, Jennifer Keena, Rebecca Keena, Blake Schmidt, Maxwell Schmidt and Spencer Schmidt) and one great-grandchild, Winnie Phelan, as well as two brothers, Edward Petronio of Boca Raton, FL and John Petronio of Schenectady, NY(deceased). Viewing will be on Monday October 19th, 4pm to 7pm at Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd, Lexington, MA 02421. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday October 20th at 10am at the Church of Saint Brigid, 1981 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington, MA 02421 followed by interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford, MA 02155. A repast will be held at 12:30 at Lucia Ristorante 13 Mt Vernon St, Winchester, MA 01890.
