Mariwood MacLucas Ward, 94, of Bedford, previously of Lexington, died peacefully Friday, May 19, 2017.  Known as Woody by friends and family and as MacLucas Ward in the art community, she was a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and a beloved art teacher and artist.  She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Ward, Jr.  She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Abraham and her husband Robert, and Fran Ward-Nelson, her grandchildren: Robin Adams and her husband Ashley, Scott Abraham and his fiancé Katie Lynn Donovan, William Nelson and Rebecca Nelson; her great grandchildren: Tyler and Dylan and many dearly loved nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at a future date at Newton Memorial Cemetery, Newton, Massachusetts.
