Mrs. Martha Mocklin RN, passed into God's hands on December 9, 2015 after a fall that occurred on December 1, 2015.

Martha was 93 years old and was born in Middletown, PA. She had lived in Lexington since April 1954. At that time her husband, Sgt. Robert A. Mocklin, had been recently stationed at Hanscom Air Force base. By the summer, she was working as a Visiting Nurse for the town of Lexington until their office was closed, a job she loved and was devoted to. She had known many, many residents of Lexington and cherished many friendships. She then went to work for Ripley School in Concord and then the VA Hospital in Bedford until her husband's illness forced her retirement. She was devoted to nursing and loved caring for others in need.

She was the mother of Martha Mocklin Samuelson and son-in-law Stephen R. Samuelson of Chester, NH and Robert A. Mocklin Jr. of Tewksbury and mother-in-law of the late Marcia Nichols Mocklin. She was the grandmother of five grandchildren: Carrie Samuelson Thompson, Anne Samuelson Bergeron, Jay Samuelson, Kevin Mocklin and Julie Mocklin. She was the great grandmother of Candace Thompson, Sarah Thompson, Matthew Bergeron, Matthew and Joshua Mocklin and Elias and Simon Lawrence. She recently became the great great grandmother of Caitlyn Elizabeth Thompson.

Martha was buried on December 14, 2015 next to her husband in Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Wounded Warrior Project should you wish to donate to one of her favorite charities. Services are private.
