Curtin, Mary R. (Rowan), of Hingham, formerly of Lexington, August 6, 2022. Beloved wife of the late John J. Curtin Jr. Loving mother of Michael J. Curtin and his wife Susan of Westwood.

Devoted sister of the late Nancy L. Rowan and John E. Rowan. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, John "Jack" and James, one nephew, Michael Rowan and two nieces, Julie (Rowan) Marx and Christine Rowan.

Mary graduated Matignon High School in 1951, Regis College in 1955, then received her Masters in Education from Boston University.  Mary then went on to teach Elementary School in Bedford before raising her family in Lexington.  Prior to moving to Hingham, she enthusiastically volunteered her time at FISH of Lexington and Emerson Hospital in Patient Transport.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, August 12th at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington from 4pm to 7pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.

A private family funeral will be held on Saturday, August 13th followed by interment at Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
